Deep venous thrombosis

Trombosi Venosa

Deep Venous Thrombosis (TVP) consists in the complete or partial obstruction of one or more veins of the deep venous circulation of the limbs and / or abdomen and pelvis. It is potentially severe vascular disease, related to the embolic complications that can result from it, such as pulmonary embolism. In 90% of cases, this disease affects veins of the lower limbs. Recognizing and treating this pathology can greatly reduce the risks of the fearful complications to which it is associated.
